Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager Major Duties

 Responsible for the revenue target as confirmed by the Managing Director.

 Work with the internal team and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue, ensuring minimum gross profit margin targets are met.

 Build profitable sales quotation and pricing model that will suit each customer’s need and budget.

 Develop and implement sales strategies that will increase sales productivity.

 Generate and follow up business leads. Track business leads, articulate the benefits of products and services and develop a process for driving sales.

 Prospect and develop new clientele and turn this into increased business.

 Build key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, build pipelines, negotiates and close business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Account Management

o Effectively manage existing accounts, win over lost accounts, and develop new accounts to increase revenue growth.
o Onboard 3 banks and 7 other financial institutions

 Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, certifications, and training; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating relevant in professional events.

 Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

 Develop a good marketing plan for the company’s products and businesses

 Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.

 Ensure compliance with corporate practices and standards.

 Understand the company’s goal and purpose, and align with it to enhance the company’s performance.

Participate in regular sales meetings to analyze performance.

Reporting Responsibilities:

 Submit weekly reports and ensure data is accurate.

 Forecast monthly sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.

 Present sales, revenue and realistic forecast to the department head for management decision.

 Identify and follow up sales leads, pitch solutions to new clients in all sectors and maintain a very strong working relationship with new contacts.

 Attend all product and sales training as well as write certification examinations planned for the department.
