NGO Manager

We are currently seeking to hire a Manager for a reputable NGO. The Manager will provide knowledge-based, strategic leadership for effective implementation of the organization’s mission and goals.

To do so, the Manager will work in collaboration with those the organization serves. He /She is responsible for all programs, services, and personnel, and ensures the organization’s efficient operation is within the approved budget.

DUTIES:
Planning strategies and implementation of the organization’s programs and services.
Resolving problems, reviewing program evaluations and approving the annual budget and report
Serving as a representative of the organization while attending community and charitable meetings.
Identifying new Companies for attaining funds and providing administrative guidance to the Volunteers and juniors, assigning and scheduling their work and motivating them to complete the target inside deadlines.
Documentation of new policies, decisions and filing of documents to create an organizational memory in the archives.
Attending meetings with Donors, Governmental official for implementation of new policies and settings.
Having good knowledge regarding rules and regulation of the Government agencies, filing of tax returns as per the monthly, quarterly and yearly end date according to the guidelines
Reviewing financial transactions and reports, forming coalition teams of the Volunteers with local communities for their upliftment and solution of problems
REQUIREMENTS:
Post Graduate in Social Work/ Sociology/Social Science or MBA or its equivalent with over 5 years’ of work experience
Experience of working with an NGO
Strong understanding on the statutory requirements and laws which governs NGO /Foundation
Substantial experience of managing multiple NGOs and networks.
Prior experience of setting up business units.
Basic knowledge of accounting.
COMPETENCES
Knowledge of NGO ‘market’ and fundraising.
Ability to develop business plans.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel.
Good analysis skills.
Ability to meet fundraising targets.
Communications and relationship building skills.
Personal drive to exceed targets.
Ability to manage social media networks
