- AUTO ELECTRICIAN
Requirements:
- Installing new vehicle wiring systems.
- Installing and troubleshooting immobiliser and alarm systems.
- Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical system.
- Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
- Providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs.
- Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.
- Servicing of electrical automotive parts.
- Prior work experience as an Auto Electrician.
- Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Good communication skills.
- VEHICLE SPRAYERS
Requirements:
- A diploma in automotive collision repair is preferred.
- Experience working as a spray painter.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques.
- Ability to see subtle colour differences.
- Experience with breathing masks and protective clothing.
- Ability to work with acid and harsh chemicals.
- HEAVY-DUTY AUTO MECHANICS
Requirements:
- Certification as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Proven work experience as etc a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic.
- Understanding of computer testing technologies.
- Ability to lift heavy machinery.
- Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
- MIG WELDERS
Requirements:
- A completed apprenticeship or vocational training.
- A relevant certificate from a welding association may be required.
- Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Sound understanding of welding safety.
- The ability to teach would be advantageous.
- CO2 WELDERS
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CO2 welder
- Strong knowledge of CO2 welding techniques, equipment setup, and welding parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools related to welding and metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their welding characteristics.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in weld quality.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
- ARC WELDERS
Requirements:
- Knowledgeof arc welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in the use of welding equipment
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Ability to use arc welding equipment safely
- Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines
