Our client is a logistics company headquartered in Tema. They specialize in transportation, supply chains, and warehouse management.

This Sales Executive role is responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our client’s customer base.

This Sales Executive role will be responsible for generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business.


Responsibilities:

 Responsible for developing a plan to achieve sales target
 Responsible for carrying out prospecting calls
 Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firm’s freight transportation services
 Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships
 Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution
 Represent the firm in negotiating and building relationship with shippers and carriers
 Perform Cold-calling and work to build a book of businesses
 Negotiate contracts and rate agreements.
 Document issues with orders thoroughly.
 Track/trace shipments when requested

Requirements:

Industry experience is not required! Our ideal candidate will have a strong competitive spirit and be accustomed with working in a very fast paced environment. Additional attributes we seek include:

Bachelor’s Degree required
Previous Sales experience preferred
Energetic, positive attitude
Growth and Sales Oriented
Problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
